RUN-FLAT TYRES — WHY WE CHOOSE A BETTER SOLUTION

Back in 2012, changes to vehicle regulations meant that manufacturers were no longer required to supply new vehicles with a spare wheel and tyre.

In response, many manufacturers began fitting run-flat tyres as standard equipment. However, in our experience, this solution often comes with a significant compromise in ride comfort and driving refinement.
 

Anyone who has driven a vehicle equipped with run-flat tyres will understand what we mean. The ride can feel noticeably harsher, with reduced compliance and a less comfortable driving experience. In many cases, the alternative supplied in the boot is simply a can of tyre sealant

One of the first things we do with any new vehicle fitted with run-flat tyres is remove them and replace them with a quality set of conventional tyres, restoring a more comfortable and enjoyable driving experience.
